Welcome to all readers of Moberly Revisted. For our very first post, we will inaugurate this service by giving an introduction of Moberly.
Moberly was developed as a student entertainment hub. The main purpose of the Moberly was to promote student interaction through activities such as jamming, singing, boardgames, computer gaming etc. Through this development, Moberly has also become a place for students to hang out and pass time.
Mug @ Moberly provides students with a conducive environment to well, "MUG"(aka study till you hair falls off). With tables and cubicles, students can partake in productive activities with no worries about distraction.
Karaoke @ Moberly stocks a load of tracks for aspiring singers to enjoy the company of friends through singing. With its sound system, it is not difficult for one to lose himself in his own world.
Jam @ Moberly is by far the cheapest jamming studio in Singapore, given the quantity and quality of the equipment provided. Wanting to record that track that you love so much? Jam @ Moberly is where you need to be. Mixers and effects decks let you explore the kind of sound you've never heard before. Top-of-the-line equipment leaves you with no worry that the keyboard will produce a note.
LAN @ Moberly is the nearest cyber-cafe to Singapore Polytechnic now. Don't worry, they have the latest games on all their computers. Tired of spending time restarting the computer while your friends call you a "lagger"? Have no fear, high performance computers are here.
With the latest addition of Xbox360 consoles to the cafe, play Gears of War in Hi-def and scared yourself silly with Silent Hill.
This is the end of our very first article on Moberly. We will be discussing the experience both good and bad in the JAM @ Moberly studios. Look out for personal reviews from SP's Diploma in Music and Audio Technology.
